Hi, I'm Tanya and I'm a health and fitness editor at AOL Body. I'll be blogging here a couple times a week (hopefully more) along with a few other editors from Body. We're excited to be here, as we're big fans of That's Fit and we're happy they're letting us join in.
Recently, a friend of mine forwarded me a link to Christoga: Faith in Fitness, a yoga video using passages from the Bible as the meditation focus. I found the concept interesting and didn't know anything about this trend. We dug in and found out that in churches across the country, people are practicing what they call Christian Yoga.
As an advocate of healthy living and fitness, I think if you're making something work for you, fantastic. I'm just wondering if it will catch on, or if it's a little overzealous for the average yoga fan?
