Sex can cure headaches
If you think sex can't be had due to a headache, how wrong you are. At least, according to headache specialist Dr. Vincent Martin. Amazingly, it's just the opposite. Oh, let the good times roll!Martin stated this week that the increase in serotonin levels which happens during sex eases the pathways in the brain that can lead to and sustain a headache.
Now, this isn't to say that sex is the answer to all headaches or there would be massive tardiness in the corporate world every day. But, with the act itself being quite a bit more powerful than popping a few ibuprofen or aspirin, perhaps this new headache cure will be tested soon by, well, many.

I have had migraines for the last several years as well, and the only thing that eases the maddening pain is sex. I've always suspected that it is the rush of energy/feelings that overtakes the headache - glad to see there is some truth behind what I've been thinking.

It doesn't cure my headaches either. The rise in blood pressure only makes it worse.

This always works for my migraines, if only for a little while. It's like a bonus after a great night.

Sex doesn't help my headaches either. It makes them so much worse, sometimes I vomit from the increase in pain. I don't agree with this doc either, but I know sex does help some people with headaches. Too bad I can't be one of them.

I've tried this and seen it work. I always laugh because you hear the stereotype that women don't have sex because they have a headache when, in fact, sex can cure that very ache! Men should probably read this...

I don't understand how sex can cure a headache when, for some people, they can get really bad headaches from having an orgasm....

I do believe it said it does not help cure all types of headaches. Migraines can be caused for all different reasons.

I am a 50yr. old woman. Sex never helped my migrains. I was told my my family doc. years ago I should roll a joint and smoke it. It opens up the blood vessels. I am not a smoker but I did try it and it works wonders. Getting it is the problem.

I totally had a migraine once and I was so pissed that my boyfriend still wanted to have sex. I did it to shut him up and was thrilled when my headache went away completely. I totally agree and tell others all about the headache cure.

I am not involved financially involved with the appliance but I have provided it for 150 patients with some 80% receiving good results...
Thanks
