Daily Fit Tip: exercise while watching TV

TV watching is generally a sedentary exercise -- but it does not have to be. Although most of us watch some form of television on a daily basis, why not sit there and perform stretches, crunches, push-ups and hand weights while paying attention to that program?

This sounds simple, but it's an easy way to get in some good muscle conditioning and calorie burning during a time when you'd be doing virtually nothing anyway. Why not take use of it?

So, the next time Desperate Housewives or Back To You comes one, fire up those muscles and get some easy-to-do workout exercises for that 30 minutes (or even an hour). It's a great way to get into the habit of exercise without taking dedicated time to do it.
