Here's some advice from Fitsugar:
- If you're just starting out as a veggie, slowly introduce beans and tofu into you diet -- don't eat a whole bunch right from the start
- Mix beans with other foods to tone down the gassiness
- Don't eat or cook with the water that beans are soaked in
- Try a supplement like Beano if all else fails.

LOL. I find the biggest culprit to be broccoli, for me. I haven't tried anything like beano, yet. Curious to see what others say!

I've been veg for many years. I don't have a problem with gas. The only time I have aproblem with gas is if I eat too much or eat poor food combinations.
Honestly, I think your body adjusts. OR your gut gets healthier because beans are not really hard to digest...if they are cooked thoroughly and you chew them well.
Make sure you have enough probiotics in your gut for starters.
