Imported vitamin C prices from China skyrocket

Vitamin C supplements and raw materials are a large cash crop in China (so to speak), but with prices for this particular vitamin set to increase in a large way soon, expect higher prices -- much higher prices -- for this vitamin C-containing products soon.

CBS News says that production in China for vitamin C has been cut recently as demand has stayed steady -- and naturally, prices have skyrocketed as a result.
