Kids and teens seeing higher blood pressure

It's a little disturbing to see that kids in the U.S. are experiencing higher blood pressure levels these days, but that is precisely what medical experts in the U.S. indicated this week.

Could an increasing average blood pressure in America's youth be a precursor to more heart disease and other ailments in the next few decades? Why, sure it could be. Unless parents (and kids) become educated about much of the food they eat as being the cause, we're headed for a medical calamity of sorts.

Looking at these historical stats, I am alarmed. Since 1988, the trend towards higher blood pressure has climbed now for 19 straight years.
