Are all fats bad for you when eaten or otherwise consumed? Certainly not, and its comforting to know that public education may be improved in this ares by use of a new 'Dietary Fatty Acids' guide to good fats and bad fats that is being published by U.S. and Canadian nutrition experts.Education is the key for health, and the consumption of some fats and the elimination of others -- if the public was educated on both -- would drastically affect the quality of health in any country.
If you are not familiar with the differences in unsaturated fats, omega-3 unsaturated fats, saturated fats and trans fats, you'd be wise to read up here. It's information that can empower those daily food choices. But, you have to know about it before you make those choices.
