'Tis the season for comfort foods

As the leaves on the trees go yellow, the days get shorter and air has has a slight chill that can only mean Autumn, for many it means another thing -- the season of trading fresh salads for comfort food. New changes (school, more important commitments at work), upcoming holidays (Canadian thanksgiving is in little over a month) and the general sadness of the end of summer leads people to rely on old favourites for meals. My all-time favourite comfort meal is Mac n' Cheese, and I'm sure I'll end up cooking it, even if only to warm up when the first snow hits.
