Create your own diet, your way

Have you tried many diets in recent years only to slowly drift back into old habits and gain back any lost weight? I know this scenario all too well, and I'll bet many of you do also.

How about a sensical "do it yourself" diet? The Internet is a great resource to find out what foods should be eaten on a daily basis and in what amounts these foods should be eaten, and with a little patience, you can create your own diet and lose the weight. Creating a new eating lifestyle should remain the ultimate goal.

Pre-packaged diets like the Atkin's or South Beach models are great for some that need specific directions or who do not have time to do a lot of research on a custom diet. But if you do, it's a great way to make that "permanent" diet change.
