Whether for our homes, our meals, our work or our relationships, creativity is an important aspect of life. How do you find the time and and energy to get creative? Here are some suggestions from the Life Skill Institute to help you tap into your natural creativity:- Make creativity a priority -- spend some time each day with your thoughts, and let them flow
- Get in the habit of using your mind for new ideas. For example, make something for dinner that you've never made before. Imagine what your living room would look like in some dramatic other colour. Come up with one idea per week that will improve your job or the company you work for.
- Think beyond what you've been accustomed to thinking. Experiment with the unknown.
- Participate in activities that help you grow as a person, like yoga or book club or a web design class. Don't be afraid to do these on your own, if you have to.
- Develop your creative emotions and instincts. Let yourself be creative.
