One of the worst things I can do is turn on the Food Network. Whatever they are cooking cannot compare to the tasteless salad I just choked down, and I find myself insatiably craving whatever they're making. The worst is Giada De Laurentiis' Everyday Italian. If I could eat her food every day, I would.

Do you like cooking shows too? If so, perhaps the change in your life that will finally allow you to drop those final pounds is the switch the shows you watch. Turn off Emeril and Paula Deen and turn on a more calorie-conscious celebrity chef like Ellie Krieger or Calorie Commando with Juan Carlos Cruz. Better yet? Watch those Weight-loss programs on the lifestyle channels. They always inspire me to get off the couch and get to the gym
