Curry spice takes on Alzheimer's Disease
Categories: Motivation, Nutrition & Supplements
That hot and yummy curry spice derivative known as turmeric might be for more than for making that dish tasty. It could also serve to be used when developing new treatments for Alzheimer's Disease patients, according to new research. The "brain plaque" that helps lead to Alzheimer's Disease can be partially wiped away by turmeric, as researchers suggested that the spice could be used in an injectable fashion to help the sufferer's immune system deal with the components that ultimately help lead to Alzheimer's Disease.
So, curry is not only tasty, but good for the brain in an odd kind of way. I'll continue sprinkling it on those tasty veggie dishes, that's for sure.
