Veggie Booty sued due to food recall
Categories: Nutrition & Supplements
As Debra explained here last week, Veggie Booty products were recalled due to some of the ingredients contained in them may have been contaminated with salmonella bacteria.Again, Chinese-sourced ingredients are being put to blame for this latest food recall. In what took less than a week, a couple is now suing the makers of Veggie Booty products for poisoning their child. Details are sparse at the moment, so it will be interesting to see how this develops.
The suit claims that an 18-month-old child had a severe bout of "bloody diarrhea" that was caused by tainted Veggie Booty products. The suit alleges that the child was found to have salmonella poisoning when taken to the hospital for evaluation. If this case is proven, yet another hit against manufacturers who source products from China will happen. Count on it.

Did they also recall the Pirates Booty? I sure hope not because that stuff is the best. I don't think it is all the same, but then again who knows.
Can this family prove that it was the product that caused the young child to get so sick? It just sounds like another idiot looking for someone to blame. They never think for one second that they are responsible.
