Be safe when grilling this summer

Who says grilling has to be unhealthy? From grilling vegetable alternatives to meat to using marinades instead of salty additives, there are ways to eat healthy foods this summer while enjoying what the outdoor grill can bring to the party. Ever tried corn on the cob? Pineapple? Bananas?Often, grilling is more of a social gathering activity more than the act of preparing food. In fact, I'd call grilling the ultimate summer social activity. But, who says that steaks, red meat, fatty burgers and other products that can add to the waistline are all there is to offer to that backyard grill?
There are healthy and low-calorie alternatives that taste pretty darn good once you get over the fact that it's not a slab of beef you're searing on that grill. Take a trip down this list and get prepared to grill heartily. And, healthy.
