Many people have asked me lately what exercises they can do to start toning those "stomach muscles." In preparation for the summer bikini season (among other things).In addition to cutting out all soft drinks and refined and white carbs (a doozy for many), I've had such great luck with simple sit-ups and stretches that those are the two items that usually come blurting out of my mouth. I know crunches don't work for many people, but coupled with an extremely healthy diet, they've done wonders for your truly.
Another great benefit is the cost -- they are free! I've seen so many people commit to expensive machines and so forth that end up not being used after a while (they become dust magnets). This generally makes some even more depressed -- both the machine was expensive and now it's not even getting used. But to start, the simple sit-up is a great way to get started. But don't worry -- there are more steps after this one.
