A brush with a sugar-induced illness that incapacitated him in his teens lead him to the path of healthy eating. These days, he's a vegetarian who gets lots of fruits and veggies and healthy proteins. And of course, lots of exercise. And he can't help but wonder why most people in America treat their cars better than their bodies.
During his long career in the fitness industry, he's opened health clubs, lead us on the path of fitness via the TV and convinced us to get our veggies through the aforementioned infomercial. And he's still going, which at 91 is pretty amazing.
