Daily fit tip: use a pedometer

If you walk or jog each day, it's nice to know that you can count your steps in all those moves using a simple device that counts each step you take. To my surprise, though, several joggers I've talked to recently didn't even know what a pedometer was! This simple little device uses your body movement to determine how many steps (or strides) you take while just plain walking or jogging (or running).
Sounds a little boring, right? Well, a pedometer can also be a motivational coach since it will tell you exactly how many steps you've taken, and with a goal of everyone (hopefully) being about 10,000 steps per day, what will you do to get there? You friendly pedometer buddy will remind you, should you choose to wear one.
