Cardio tennis

A challenging game of tennis can certainly get your heart pumping. But if your skills need a bit of tweaking (as mine do) a tennis lesson might be in order. Unless you can spring for a private lesson, most tennis lessons will involve a lot of listening to the instructor and waiting your turn try out your serve or backhand. There's a new twist on the traditional tennis lesson, though. It's called Cardio Tennis and it's designed to give you a great workout while working on your tennis skills.
A Cardio Tennis class lasts around an hour and includes short-bursts of intense exercise, drills, and, of course, lots of tennis. It's all set to music to keep your motivated while your moving. The workouts can burn up to 600 calories per session.
It all sounds like a lot of fun to me. I'm not sure that it's your best choice if you really want to improve your tennis game. But for variety in your workout routine and a fun, engaging exercise option, this sounds like just the ticket. Tennis, anyone?
