The official start of summer is approaching and if there's something that's important in the summer heat, it's staying hydrated. Keeping a water bottle nearby (I love these stainless steel versions) is a great way to make sure you always have something to drink, but did you know you can get plenty of water from the food you eat as well? Fruits and vegetables are especially water-rich and can add 3 to 4 cups of liquid to your daily intake. A slice of watermelon can hold over a cup of water, and an apple or a cup of cut-up cucumbers can contribute 1/2 cup each.
