Do you have a propensity to overeat? This can be caused by many things directly and indirectly, but if your brain does not know you are full (but your stomach does), you may just keep on eating. Hence, all those extra pounds appear.The balanced approach we learn as small children about eating are gradually unlearned as we make our way into modern society and its fixation on food and the marketing of food. What can you do? Reprogramming is a word I hear quite a bit when talking to people who have lost weight and kept it off, and they no longer look at food the same way.
Want some tips on not overeating? I would suggest to print these out and have them hanging in the car and over the dinner table if that is what it takes to ensure you are always paying attention to the signs that end up causing you to overeat.
