Anemia drugs need stronger warnings, says FDA

The FDA said this week that common anemia drugs used in patients undergoing kidney dialysis or chemotherapy needed a tad more oversight in terms of warnings to patients.

This is nothing new to the drug industry. There are so many drugs I've looked at with dangerous side effects it makes one motivated to be healthy just to avoid them. The side effects with certain anemia drugs being looked at by the FDA? How about these: increased risk of heart attacks and stroke. Ouch.
