Easy recipe: Glazed Salmon
Categories: Healthy Recipes, Diet & Weight Loss, Nutrition & Supplements
Trying to get more fish into your diet? Not a bad idea, considering the bountiful benefits of the omega-3 fatty acids that are found in fish.Worried about mercury? That's a concern, along with other contaminants found in fish that can harm your health.
Your best fish choice hands-down is wild Alaskan salmon: low in contaminants like PCB's which are found in farmed salmon, one of the highest contents of omega-3's and one of the lowest in mercury.
We tried this greater-than-the-sum-of-its-parts recipe last week and it was a huge hit, even with the toddler population.
Holly Clegg's Glazed Salmon is easy; the only ingredients are honey, lime juice, soy sauce and mustard, but the flavors blend so effectively. It was such a refreshing change for us, because we have really gotten into a rut, cooking salmon the same way all of the time. We served it with roasted brussels sprouts and purple potatoes and it was just the change we needed (since we almost never eat potatoes).
Try it and tell us what you think!

My beautiful fiancee made the honey glazed salmon last night and it was delicious... the honey is an excellent enhancer to the salmon flavor. I highly recommend.
