Losing weight is difficult at the best of times. Curbing your eating habits is something that doesn't come easy -- we are surrounded by unhealthy choices, tempting us to forgo the our healthy choices for a briefs few moments of tastiness. So how do we avoid falling off the wagon? WebMD has these suggestions. In a nutshell, they are:

-Make changes that you can stick to in the long-term
-Keep healthy, quick snacks on hand to avoid the allure of fast-food
-Gradually make small changes
-Don't expect instant success; you'll only be disappointed and disappointment can lead to over-indulgence.
-Allow yourself to have slip-ups. Don't beat yourself up because of them, just make a smarter choice next time.
-Keep records so you can see how far you've come
