Get your morning cup of joe -- in the shower

Well here's something you don't see every day! Thinkgeek.com is selling caffeine-infused soap that they claim can give you the same morning boost as two cups of coffee. Shower Shock, as the soap is called, is a vegetable-based glycerin soap that releases caffeine as you wash with it. The product's manufacturers claim that the caffeine is absorbed directly into your skin, raising your heart rate and blood pressure and making you feel more alert for about 4 hours. The peppermint scent assures that you don't leave the shower smelling like a coffee bean and the gentle cleanser also is free of many of the harsh ingredients found in conventional soaps. Thinkgeek warns that children and pregnant women (and I'm guessing anyone else who's supposed to be avoiding caffeine) shouldn't use the product.

I wonder if Starbucks is saying, "Now why didn't we think of that?"
