Why it's easier for men to take off the pounds

For me, losing 10 pounds is tough. It involves living off salads and working out 6 times a week. When it comes to my partner Jon, losing 10 pounds is achieved trough some easy life changes, like taking a 10-minute walk twice a week -- not that he ever gains extra weight anyway. It's just not fair! But there might be more to it than luck ... there are several reason Men have an easier time losing weight than women. For starters, they're more likely to crave protein sources than sweet things like chocolate. He probably doesn't use food to sooth the frustration of a bad day.
