Stir-fry: it's fast and healthy

Are you a stir-fry fan? Stir-fried vegetables, when prepared properly, are a great way to eat some tasty food without compromising that diet or eating unhealthy (like a fried egg roll). While eating raw vegetables seems rather bland to many of us, eating the deep-fried and added-sauce alternatives on the other end of the spectrum is not that good of a choice as an alternative.A good middle ground is stir-fry. A simple wok (or even a skillet) and some fresh vegetables like water chestnuts, snow peas and brussel sprouts sure makes for a very tasty and incredibly fast way to get some food in that belly without eating unhealthy food and without eating something with very little taste.
A personal secret: use olive oil in the wok and add fresh garlic and pepper (no salt) to the stir-fry, plus any other spices you like. Experiment and have fun knowing that you're eating healthy. Prepare rice as a side item, and use whole-grain brown rice instead of bleached white rice as well.
