Categories: Diet & Weight Loss, Nutrition & Supplements
With the first day of Sprint upon us, we are winding down National Nutrition Month (March). What have you done to try and become more nutritionally aware this month?Simple things like paying attention to the "Nutrition Facts" labels and ensuring the calorie counts of what you eat don't bust your needed daily caloric intake total are great ways to become used to watching your nutrition.
When it comes to being nutritionally aware, small steps are needed at the outset. Once you start learning how to fix meals (or buy them) which give you a balanced set of nutrients every single day, you'll be on your way to a healthy lifestyle based on sound nutrition. So, don't let March get away without starting!

I usually bring pretzels to work for a snack (4 points worth on Weight Watchers) but I have replaced them with fruits and veggies for snacks.
Drinking more green tea and water instead of Diet Coke, if any soda at all.
Making sure that any time I bring in extra food that isn't strictly on my diet plan, that it is more of the healthy stuff and not bad stuff, if that makes any sense (such as having an extra serving of almonds)
