Green tea could be a cancer fighter -- it tastes good, too

Are you a tea drinker? Many of us drink tea in the summer or with a restaurant dinner (I like mine with a lemon wedge -- that's it), but there are year-round benefits of drinking tea. In fact, there are so many reasons to drink green tea that it's now available from the mass manufacturers like Lipton to the specialty tea makers like Celestial Seasonings.Recently, a group of scientists said that the antioxidants in green tea may fight lung cancer -- and could even inspire the creation of new lung cancer drugs. That would be quite a feat, for green tea to inspire drugs.
While the benefits of drinking green tea have been pitted against cancer cells in test tubes, the human body is quite a different environment -- so it may be too early to call green tea a cancer fighter. Still, I plan to continue drinking it. Do you?
