Help your diet by springing into fruit

Spring is almost here and that means fresh fruits may soon be in season at your local grocery or health food store. I love fruit (most than vegetables!) -- because it is a naturally healthy way to eat something sweet that you just can't get from processed foods, candy or refined sugar. Fresh fruit has sugar, yes -- but the occurring in its natural state, the way or bodies were designed to consume it.My favorites this time of year? Fresh pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, tangerines and mango. Ever try making a fresh fruit melange? You are in for a treat if not -- I just mix everything up and eat it raw from a bowl -- no need to add anything here like marshmallow sauce or juice.
Once you've gotten used to eating fresh fruit without anything else added, it's hard to imagine eating fake, sweetened foods again. Don't forget to freeze leftovers, since fruits keep all the benefits of vitamins and minerals when frozen -- and they keep longer o course!
