Is red wine healthy?
Categories: Diet & Weight Loss, Nutrition & Supplements
The consumption of red wine has been debated before in terms of the contents of wine actually being quite healthy while some contents being, umm, not so healthy (like overconsumption of alcohol). The head of research at the Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology in France states that red wine is indeed healthy by explaining how wine works at the cellular level in humans.
As long as consumption is kept at a moderate level, perhaps all that red wine is doing some good inside your body. I know that I am a fan of red wine on occasion.

Is red wine healthy? I would think that in moderation
it probably is. The reason I say this is because when
I was a kid, my friends grandparents drank a glass of
red wine every night after reading the Bible. These
people walked to work and from work, they walked
every where even after they purchased a car. Today,
they are in their 90's and they are not "old 90's".
They still walk about 1mile and they have that glass
of red wine, and they have mental clarity. Now that
I am getting older, I find myself calling them and getting advice from them. These people are from 3
different families and they are my inspiration.
