Daily Fit Tip: "Fat-proof" your home

You could be sabotaging yourself everyday, and not even know it! If you need some help staying on track with eating right and working out regularly (and who doesn't) then consider this: your house could be making you fat. Sounds ridiculous, I know, but when you read this article it will start to make sense. Everything from the lighting in your house to the size of your dinner plates can have an effect on what you eat, how you feel, and how much you exercise.
There are countless good pointers and ideas, but a one of the most interesting to me was: eat your meals in bright light. Research shows people are less self-aware in dim lighting, and therefore inhibitions are looser and overeating is more likely. Also: clean out your closet as soon as you drop a size or two. Keeping those larger clothes makes it that much less noticeable when you start to gain the weight back, and keeping them around may also quietly undermine your confidence -- almost like you expect you'll need them again someday instead of assuming you're going to keep the pounds off.
I had to read this article through a couple of times, it's so full of interesting ideas!
