Is Obesity caused by microbes?

This was a rather interesting article -- and it suggested that some people's obesity problem is actually caused by microbes of all things. While I continue to believe that obesity is mostly caused by eating way too much (along with eating all the wrong kinds of 'foods', if they can be called that), there are also genetic predispositions in my opinion. Like many things, genes added to lifestyle choices can be disastrous to some.
But what about bacterial causes? According to a new study, maybe it's germs that are making you fat. Researchers found a strong connection between obesity and the levels of certain types of bacteria in the gut. Perhaps the bacteria are there feasting on all the excess food?
