Fish oil and the Zone help the world's fattest man lose weight
Posted on Dec 18th 2006 8:51PM by Martha EdwardsHaving lost 350 lbs (158.8 kg), Uribe is now under 1000 lbs, weighing in at 966 lbs or 438 kg. Hope he keeps it up!
manuel keep up the good work. I know what it's like to be a big person I myself weighted around 300lbs. I started to eat less and started a diet that I have found helpful to help me loss the weight. I am now down to 270 and still looking forward to losing more. You must think in a positive way pay no attention to what others think of you. It only matters what you think of yourself. Sometimes you can be your own worset enmey if you know what I mean. Remember food is not you'll find it is the ENEMY. Most important love yourself for who you are on the inside as well as the outside. That's the key to happiness. Stay positivte and know that you can do it. I'm rooting for you and I know you can do it. Good luck
Manuel-congradulations sweetie! Keep doing it! I am praying for you and remember "it's all in the attitude" so stay positive and I want to see updates! You are my inspiration to become healthy after so many years of abuse and of course depression so I just gave up but then I see how you lost so much weight and I figure if you can do it then I can too, so if you ever get depressed and want to just let go and give up, please remember you aren't saving yourself-you are saving me! Don't stop holding on!
Happy Holidays,hon!~Always,Jackie
Manuel: Barry Sears, the author of The Zone, knows what he is talking about. I eat 5-6 times each day but it is all "zone" related and for 10-12 years I have maintained the exact same weight that is precisely appropriate for my height. I have boundless energy and at age 71, I can do anything I choose from skiing to judo! The key is eating portions afixed to The Zone plus making sure you abide by the "good carb" ratios and the "good fat" and "good proteins." Follow those and you will be amazed at how fast - and how safely you lose weight, increase energy, and regain your health. Do it, buddy, and God's speed!

"He doesn't have much time to live"?? Dee and Deni you are both insensitive judgemental idiots and I wonder how any family could ever let their children grow up to be such judgemental people?? Why don't you get to know someone BEFORE you judge them or their family. This article doesn't give us any indication that this man gained all this weight because he was lazy or because "someone must have brought him all this food". Instead of critisizing him why don't you do a little research into his condition? Obviously he has a medical or mental condition. NO ONE puts on that much weight intentionally. Manuel, way to go!! I'm in your corner!! Keep it up!
