Good cholesterol increases still worth it

Categories: Nutrition & Supplements

Now that the mainstream medical community talks on the differences between "good cholesterol" and "bad cholesterol", attempting to raise one's good cholesterol is still a prudent choice, even with the failure of Pfizer's new cholesterol drug.

Low-density Lipids (LDL) cholesterol needs to continue to be reduced in many people, while High-density Lipids (HDL) cholesterol raising is still prudent as a healthy way way to prevent heart disease.

People should not tie a pharmaceutical drug from any manufacturer (with its success or failure) with the need to follow sound medical advice at all times.
