The best dishes to choose when eating out

Thanks to reader Megan who directed our attention to this article, which lists the healthiest choices when eating out at a Japanese, Chinese or Italian establishment. The list is full of yummy drool-inducing items like Udon, linguine with clam sauce and wonton soup. Scrolling down beyond the menu items will bring you to a bunch of great tips for eating out, such as avoiding fried and opting for grilled or steamed instead, staying away from anything battered and going easy on cheese, dressings and other fats. Craving something sweet? Opt for the fruit.

When I eat out, I try to stick to lean meats like chicken breast and I avoid creamy sauces. Plus I never get fries -- it's always salad for my side. What dishes do you recommend (or not recommend) when eating out?
