Five sensible weight loss "products"

There seem to be loads and loads of products and services that claim to assist those in need to "lose weight", and everything from common sense like a sensible diet and exercise to pills of every color and shape are pitched relentlessly to those clamoring for a solution to weight loss.

Doesn't matter if it's permanent or temporary weight loss to many though, as the grasping of specifics, forming to and sticking with a plan and measuring results is a form of torture for many. I'm a large believer of doing things the old-fashioned way when it comes to weight loss: self-control and eating right combined with moderate exercise. That works for me and countless others, although there are different strokes for different folks.

So what are five common-sense things that can be used for weight loss: How is this list:

Gym Membership
Tape Measure/Body Fat Calipers/Digital Camera
Weight Scale
Food
Digital Food Scale
