Happy National Sandwich Day!

Looking for an excuse to cut loose today? Look no further -- it's National Sandwich Day. It sounds like a marketing scheme to me, but apparently there is some history to it: In the 18th century, Earl John Montagu supposedly invented the sandwich when he asked for his lunch to be placed in between two pieces of bread so he could eat while gambling.
This article points out, rightly so, that Sandwiches can either be healthy, well-rounded meals or they can be nutritional abominations loaded with fat and general un-goodness Case in point: Arby's Market Fresh Sandwiches, the so-called 'healthy' choice at the chain, all have more than 600 calories and 30 grams of fat. Yikes!
So in honor of the day, what's your favorite sandwich? I have pretty traditional tastes -- I like plain old turkey breast on fresh multigrain with veggies and some cheese. How about you?
