Add another item to the list of benefits of exercise. It improves immunity, according to this article, but only if it`s a regular part of your life. The article points to cardiovascular exercise as the workout that kept people well, including walking and cycling, whether indoors or out. I believe it -- I was pretty sickly in my early 20`s, always battling some cold or another, but since I`ve started incorporating exercise and healthy eating into my lifestyle, I rarely ever get sick.
