I just came across this excellent guide from WebMD on how to reduce the bad stuff in most recipes. Check out the handy table, which shows healthy substitutes for ingredients, plus where and in what quantity these substitutes can be used without jeopardizing the flavor of the final product. This comes just in time for me, since I have a both bake sale and potluck supper to cook for in the next week.
